Fengjian Water Village is located at the northern end of Xingtan Town, Shunde District, Guangdong, beside the Koi River, and has beautiful water resources and water environment. There are more than ten kilometers of waterways around the village, and 28 kilometers of waterways in the jurisdiction. The water is shining, the blue waves are rippling, and the twists and turns are endless. Away from the hustle and bustle, the air is fresh and pleasant, the natural environment is harmonious, and the pattern of the ancient village in Lingnan still exists. There are more than a hundred ancient houses, with ancient trees all over the place, and the slate ancient road is vertical and horizontal. Tree-lined, bird-speaking, floral, and poetic. It is an ideal place for those who like to return to nature and achieve a leisurely vacation.
Fengjian was one of the earliest settlements in Shunde. This can be traced to the excavation of the cultural relics of the Western Han Dynasty in the village, followed by the discovery of Ming Dynasty and Tang Dynasty cultural relics. The two Songkong ancient bridges in the Song Dynasty witnessed a thousand years of history, and were first promoted as the ancient capitals of the Sankong Bridge in Foshan City, becoming provincial cultural relics. Many ancient ancestral halls in the Ming Dynasty have witnessed the original counties belonging to Shunde County, Nanhai County. The establishment of the Eight Scenic Spots in the Ming Dynasty and the stone that is known as “Little Guangzhou” confirm the prosperity of Shunde in the past. The Shishi Arch Bridge and Jinshifang Wooden Archway are profound humanities.
