Foshan metro
Besides the highways, there’s news from Foshan Metro! By the end of the year, the wait for the peak period of the Guangfo Line will be shortened to 150 seconds!
Ten years ago, because the Guangfo subway was put into use, Foshan became the pioneer of the cross-city subway in the country. The development of Guangfo city was further accelerated, forming a 1-hour life circle.
In the past 10 years, the average daily passenger flow of the Guangzhou-Foshan Metro has jumped from less than 100,000 to nearly 600,000.
The departure interval has been shortened from 8 minutes and 30 seconds at the beginning of the opening to 3 minutes and 35 seconds during the peak period.
Recently, the newly purchased trains of Guangfo Metro have been in place one by one, and some of them have been adjusted and tested. It is expected that by the end of this year, all the new trains will be in place and tested.
The interval between trains will be further shortened. The peak period will reach 2 minutes and 30 seconds, which is nearly 6 minutes shorter than the initial stage.
